Texas Energy Providers

There is NO COST to switch providers, unless you are under contract from another provider and they have an early cancellation fee, and sometimes its to your advantage to pay the early termination fee. The only additional fees that you will see on your bill other than your energy usage is taxes, and a meter fee, that is passed on from Centerpoint, (usually around $3.00). There will also be a recovery fee that is passed on from Centerpoint for Hurricane costs. We currently suggest that all Residential customers use Brilliant Energy as their energy provider. Brilliant Energy’s bill is very easy to read and they have 3 terms available: 6 months, 12 months, and 24 months. They do NOT have a month to month plan.
